Kraken offers marketing leading products for the new energy system. Our global grid scale battery storage dispatch and optimisation platform, Infraflex, operates across four continents contracted to dispatch over 6GW of assets. We work with a number of asset operators and offtakers to help them optimise their storage portfolios across a number of stacked services in European and GB markets. 

The Infraflex offering:

- Global footprint - we support global energy companies, traders and asset investors that trade and operate storage portfolios spanning North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

- Real-time control - we can deploy our power plant controller and dispatch via our real-time telemetry platform. Our platform currently records over 3 billion readings a day across our customer portfolio.

- Cross market optimization - our real-time optimiser helps traders stack market revenues across wholesale, reserve, frequency and imbalance markets.

- Flex Bidding - for centrally dispatched markets we offer a real-time storage optimisation and bidding tool. We also offer the ability to optimise asset flexibility alongside an algorithmic trading service in continuous auction markets.

The Smartflex offering:

Smartflex is our platform for the creation of value from smart use of electric vehicles, heat pumps, smart thermostats and home batteries. This currently dispatches over 1GW of demand every night, helping to balance grids as they increasingly rely on renewable energy generation. In addition to the features available with Infraflex, Smartflex provides

- Consumer demand forecasting - this helps traders forecast the expected consumption of their retail portfolios , together with dispatch flexibility that can be used to balance the grid in real-time across continuous and real-time markets.

- Optimisation - our real-time optimisation allows traders to explore multiple scenarios to maximise the revenue from combining consumer flexibility with generation and retail positions, against market prices.
